No bootloader after ML install on SSD

You are looking in the wrong place.
Finder->Preferences-> Show hard drives on desktop
double click on your hard drive icon you should be seeing the root partition first in finder - /Extra is in the root
 
No extra folder here.

Hello,

I still seem to be having difficulty getting this build to load off the HDD without falling into sleep mode. I used the Multibeast version provided and I seem to still have issues getting the build to load on its own. I clicked the Easy Beast option and once completed, I restarted. Once I try booting, in either verbose setting, I get the same results. Please assist.

Suggest you select only Easy Beast to begin with and install.
