Last chance, install the attached ssdt to EXTRA/SSDT.aml. reply with new IOReg.

Thank you so much Toleda. Audio now works from 1 output port at a time. Let me know if there's something else I should consider.
I now have to figure out how to make 5.1 work with it..but that's up to me with the help of your awesome guides.

Here attached IOjones anyway.

Thanks again for the hard work.

no dsdt/HDEF
Rename and install audio_ssdt-no_hdef-hdae-1.zip to Extra/SSDT.aml
No edits to org.chameleon.Boot.plist required.
Reply with new IOReg.

Thank you for your reply Toleda. I'm not sure how to go about renaming and installing the kext in the specific directory you described. Are there step by step instructions somewhere? I killed my OS once already and want to make sure I don't make any more mistakes.

Thanks,
John

Hello, nice to meet you. I didn't mange to make microphone work on my hackintosh laptop. After received help from a guy with patched AppleHDA.kext, the output (speaker) is work now but not microphone. So can you please help me to patch it again for a working microphone? I will send you all my files for you to check. Please help me because I really need microphone to facetime. Hope to see your respond, thank you in advance. I'm using HP Envy laptop with ALC290 and 10.10 Yosemite.

Here is the IOReg copy after adding SSDT.aml to /extra/
Delete from org.chameleon.Boot.plist
1. HDAEnabler=Yes
2. HDEFLayoutID=01000000
Replace Extra/SSDT.aml with the attached and renamed ssdt.

Would greatly appreciate any assistance with this problem. I have tried to troubleshoot using the guide in this thread but have had no luck so far. Everything else is running swimmingly with my build. I apologize in advance if I am in the wrong place.

No Audio Devices detected
Problems:
1. Set all to NO: config.plist/ACPI/DSDT/Fixes/
2. Install edited AppleHDA.kext in S/L/E, use Kext Beast, Kext utility, etc.
3. Remove EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.10/AppleHDA.kext
4. Remove installed ssdt, does not work.
5. Download ssdt from Post #229, Haswell-E + X99 Motherboard Temporary Guide
6. Rename and install SSDT-1.aml to EFI/CLOVER/ACPI//patched/SSDT.aml

Thank you! Sorry 2 more stupid questions. If I am using clover configurator does the first step entail unchecking everything in the 'fixes' category (as in attached image).

Where do I find the edited AppleHDA.kext?

Thanks for your patience!

Yes, including NewWay fixes.
It is in the place you copied the attached AppleHDA.kext from.
