Reinstalled both kexts again. Kextcache shows they are loaded. Audio codec still not detected.

I think I don't have have controller 8ca0(8086:8CA0 Name: 9 Series Chipset Family HD Audio Controller)

According to DCPIManager I have 2 audio controllers.
8086:160C Name: Broadwell-U Audio Controller
8086:9CA0 Name: Wildcat Point-LP High Definition Audio Controller

AppleHDAController supports 8ca0.
The patch changes 8ca0 to 9ac0, enabling Mojave/AppleHDAController support for your motherboard chip set.

Your motherboard has a new ALC1220 revision
Install AppleALC_v1.3.4 or newer
Restart, reply with new files

Could you check if I edit my config.plist correct for this patch please?I've used clover configurator. Also I posted new thread on your provided link https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/no-audio-detected-on-xps13-9343.267941/ and they told me to remove this patch. I am confused now.

Problems with HDEF audio device not working/non visible. Show up in IOReg tho.

1. Audio device HDEF is visible in IOReg but not in system information nor in audio pref so it cannot be used.
2. Mojave 10.14.2 / Lenovo S30 4352 / BIOS 60A / E5-1620V2 / Sapphire RX 580 Nitro+
