Having a problem with my hackintosh desperately looking for help...
  1. Description of audio problem: Audio worked perfectly for 8 months through digital optical out, tried to install a custom screen resolutiont using an app called Switchresx and after reboot no longer had the option to use optical digital audio and no longer had the option to use line out (green 3.5mm jack)
  2. OS X version/motherboard model/BIOS version/processor/graphics: 10.13.5/Asrock Z370 Fatal1ty Gaming ITX/ac/P1.90/i5-8400/EVGA FTW3 1080ti
  3. Procedure/Guide Used: Can't remember unfortunately...
  4. Copy of IOReg - IOReg_v2.1/File/Save a Copy As…, verify file (Tools 2.) - Attached
  5. Terminal/diskutil list - attach Terminal output - Attached
  6. Installed S/L/E/AppleHDA.kext (10.11 and newer, search: show hidden files) - Installed and Attached
  7. Screen shots:
    1. DPCIManager/Status (Tools 3.) - Attached
    2. System Information/Hardware/Audio/Intel High Definition Audio (not Devices) - Does not appear in list
    3. System Preferences/Sound/Input - Attached
    4. System Preferences/Sound/Output - Attached
  8. Terminal/Shell/Export Test As. . . (if script used) - Not sure what this means

  9. Clover
    1. EFI/CLOVER/config.plist - Attached
    2. DPCIManager/Misc/Boot Log (Tools 3.) - Attached
    3. EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/Patched/dsdt.aml (if installed) - None
    4. EFI/CLOVER/ACP/Patched/ssdt(s).aml (if installed) - I believe I have one installed, attached
  10. Put all files in a folder, compress and attach to Post
Thanks for any help! It must not be complicated since I had it working this morning, not too sure what happened.

Layout 11 is not supported on this site
Edit config.plist/Devices/Audio/Inject/1
Screenshot of AppleHDA.kext is useless, attach kext
Restart, reply with new files

Still no sounds. I have the do have VooDooHDA installed though. Now my sounds look like this. (view screenshot below)
I can hear volume from HDMI now. So I guess I'm getting somewhere.

SwitchRes has no effect on audio, red herring.
Installed 2 audio methods, one on top of the other. Each works on it's own neither works together
See AppleHDA Realtek Audio/Post #1/X. Uninstall AppleHDA Realtek Audio:
Remove cloverALC
Remove AppleALC, not current.
See AppleHDA Realtek Audio/Post #1/II. AppleHDA Realtek Audio Methods/A. acidanther/AppleALC
Install, restart, reply with new files

Voodoo is not supported on this thread. Choices:
1. remove Voodoo, restart, reply with new files
2. keep Voodoo, off topic. Start a new thread

Run Terminal:
Code:
sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions && sudo kextcache -u /
Reply with Terminal output and AppleHDA.kext

$ sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions && sudo kextcache -u /

Hi there. I finished my upgrade to Mojave from High Sierra, and then uninstalled previous audio fix per X. Uninstall AppleHDA Realtek Audio, and then followed Post #1/B. Acidanthera/AppleALC. However, no joy. I have the ALC 1150 chipset and everything worked fine in High Sierra. Any ideas? Debug files are attached. Thank you in advance for your help.
