I was actually just coming back to post that I've solved the problem. It turns out that an old version of Lilu was installed in /S/L/E (don't know why, but obviously my fault). Even though 1.2.8 was showing injected in the boot log, as was AppleALC 1.3.3, AppleALC was not being properly installed because Lilu 1.2.5 was taking precedent. Hopefully my mistake helps someone else.

Install Lilu+AppleALC, restart, reply with new files.

MacOS 10.13.6/Gigabyte Z390 Auros Master/F5/i7-8700K/RX 480.

Reply with Terminal output and AppleHDA.kext

Today I try again but I’m going to buy an audio interface, M-Audio M-Track 2x2M.. If I buy this one, will audio work?

This fixed things for me too. The AppleALC I have is 1.3.3 which is the newest one I could find.

I mistyped. The version I actually have is AppleALC 1.3.3.
