Hello TonyMacx86 forum,
I am a mac user for about 7 years and I have been reading the forum for a few weeks now. I am looking to build my own Hackintosh Desktop but I have a few questions first. This is kind of tough for me to understand everything on this forum so that is why I want my first build to be very compatible and when I get use to it I can try and experiment more. To start off this is the build that fits me. Price isn't a big deal, if something is better and a little more then thats ok, but if something is over kill then a little less is good too. :D

The Build

Questions
I am looking for a very easy build as this is my first computer build and hackintosh build ever. I want the most compatible parts with the least amount of tinkering around.

1. From what I read the GA-Z77-DS3 motherboard seems like the best bet, But i dont really understand the difference between the boards except the fact that the Z77 is capable of overclocking the CPU. For example the GA-Z77X-UD5H is 90$ more and is still Z77, now I dont mind paying more for it but id like to know if its worth it. (Noob Question - And also does this mean i dont need a DSDT for this board?)

2. I would like a graphics card that is pretty future proof and can handle 2 monitors well with light gaming but good quality gaming when I want to do it. I was looking at the GTX 660Ti but it looks like there is some problems with that card on the forums. So I figured for a little more the GTX 670 would be great. I cant find any real good info on this card in the forums. Is it very compatable?

3. Will Air Mirroring work with this since it has HD4000 graphics and GPU?

4. This one is just a noob question but how would I know what things to check off in multibeast and when to use graphics enabler. if everyone has a little bit different build then how do you figure out what to do.

Thankyou so much for reading and helping. Any advice is good advice!! :D

(1) The GA-Z77X-UD5H has, among other things, support for multiple GPU technologies like Nvidia SLI or AMD CrossFire (which is irrelevant in OSX), more USB3 ports (but some of them don't work in OSX), one more LAN port, and theoretically better CPU overclocking since it has more CPU power phases, than the GA-Z77-DS3H. If you do not need any of these the GA-Z77-DS3H is much cheaper and works just as well. Neither of these boards need a DSDT.

(2) Both the 660Ti and 670 should work if you use Mountain Lion.

Alright cool, thanks for that info. So since this build is strictly customac it should be pretty straight forward? Because both those cards are "supported" do I new to check off them in multibeast or no?
