So my question is quite simple: can you run new GPU with new drivers on old Mac OS?
I just kinda got the idea to replicate my hackintosh I had in 2014(Z77-DS3H, i7 2600k and 10.9 Mavericks), but with better graphics(I thought of something like 1070/1070ti). There's no reason for me to go 10.9 route aside from nostalgia(it was my first hackintosh, so it has some sentimental value to me).
So, is such thing possible or should I just go for older GPU that 100% works on Mavericks?
