How do you feel about a Z170 motherboard with a 7700K processor?
open to any suggestions.
The i7 7700K is mostly working now. But until Apple releases a computer that uses a Kaby Lake CPU, sleep won't be working.

I believe it does, the only thing that keeps me from getting it is that I have heard that 6700K (skylake processors) were a bit buggy and that's why intel released new Kaby lake earlier than expected. But I don't know if this is a fact or just a bad rumor. If I went with the 6700 would the sleep function work? pretty important to me as I leave my pc running throughout the day.
Thank you for the quick response. Would you say a 7700K on a Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD5 is a good idea or should I go with the Z270X version?
I assume a kaby lake imac should come out some time this year, so as you said that should fix the sleep problem.
Do you think the 7700K is a better choice than the 6700K? Have you heard anything about 6700K being buggy? Or about 7700K getting overheated?
