Finally HDMI 2.0 is working on my LG 4K screen with GTX 980.

However in system preferences it displays as 120.5-inch (7680 x 4050) @ 24Hz, TV says (4096 x 2160 @ 24Hz) should be 49-inch (3840 x 2160) 60Hz. Tried pressing option key whilst selecting scaled resolutions but my screens resolution still isn't listed.

Hopefully next updates correct this but at this time happy to have HDMI 2.0 working sort of and higher resolution than 1980 x 1020.

Same for me on ub408000. I just bought it a few weeks ago for viewing screen in FCPX and am happy that this issue was fixed while I was on vacation. Also glad Nvidia is giving a nod to hackintosh community now by supporting clover/chameleon automatically. Will definitely wait a bit to update to 10.10.3 as this is the best scenario by hack pro has been since I got the 970 in November (have been able to do 1440p on dvi-d port FYI). I do regret cheaping out though and not getting the 980 due to VRAM issue, but I'm not a professional and it's close enough to realtime 4k editing.

I just installed when it popped and it's not good.

I got to login and into OS X and then black screen after a few seconds. I haven't been able to figure out what happened yet; but I'm stuck. I booted a second time and in the few seconds I had before black screen I switched to "OS X Default Graphics Driver" and rebooted. Unfortunately that is giving me kernel panic.

I was on the latest Nvidia driver prior to 346.01.01f01 until today.

I'm running 10.10.2 also.

It was working fine before 346.01.01f01

I am having this same problem. Any luck with a fix? It's crazy that the Default driver gives a kernel panic, and I had to put in another video card to edit the settings. I noticed that I can remotely log in to the computer with the NVidia Driver and work like that, but the Default driver sends me in an infinite reboot with kernel panics. Any luck?

Hey, I had the same in a Samsung 4k TV. Running the mac pixel clock pacher make HDMI 2.0 port work normaly defaulting in 3840x2160@60hz with scaling options. Even in 10.10.3
