You could put the new EFI on a USB Stick's EFI partition and boot it from there as a test. Make sure to add your serial and whatever GPU arguments necessary.

This build really inspired me to build a hackintosh again, here are my parts

MSI PRO Z690 A DDR4
Core-5 13600KF (Raptor lake)
AMD Rx580

But right now I'm struggling to create a bootable USB
I follow steps from dortania page to create the USB, but I used EFI content based from this thread.

Right now I stuck at "ACPI Exception: AE_NOT_FOUND" (please see attached)

Anyone have any suggestion?
Or any minimal EFI that I can use for USB installer for this parts

Yep, add your serial and have fun. Might require an NVRAM clear.

At the end of the day the Sabrent 1TB Rocket is the same price for 1TB. I wouldn't purchase the 660p again but in the words of one of my favorite song writers "those were different days."

Now at the end of 2022 WD has separated itself from all other brands as the go to NVMe for a hackintosh boot drive. The prices have gotten to historically low levels. Even the latest highest end 1TB SN850X model sells for $125 on Newegg. Thought your readers might like to know about this as they start installing Ventura. These MSI boards are Z690 chipset so why not go for the fastest NVMe that can use all that capacity for speed ? PCIe 3.0 NVMe drives are capped at 3,500 MB/s so you'll be missing out on the very best performance.

I've actually been considering upgrading my boot drive. Currently, it's a 500gb Samsung X5 Portable (removed from enclosure and on motherboard) and I believe thats just a Samsung 970 Evo.

The 1TB SN850X has really good specs for the low price. It sells for less than the older SN850. It's actually on backorder at Newegg right now. Can't find any for sale on Amazon.com. The Samsung 980 Pro 1TB sells for $138 on Amazon but as we know, it's not macOS compatible so it would have to be used as a boot drive for Windows/Linux only.

Really can't do better for a Monterey or Ventura boot drive on a PCIe 4.0 board. Just the IOPS rated at 800,000 to 1.1 million are mind boggling fast. Best if the firmware is updated (in windows) first before installing macOS to the drive. Durability should be just as good as the Samsnung 980 Pro drives.

you would have to wait until they update the software when new versions of opencore comes out

or use a plist editor like PlistEditPro or Xcode

I went to see PlistEditPro, and I don't think I have the required knowledge. I will look to Opencore Auxillary Tools to see what it can offer. Thanks!

Whichever makes you happy. However, if I were you I would take the time the time to learn how to edit a plist file. It's not overwhelming I promise.
