Motu 828 mk3 firewire sound card

Is this enough? Should it work then or do I need to do something else?
Thanks
no idea, i do not have the same hardware as you

i was just explaining where your kext should go

Ok, tried as indicated but it doesn't work, I don't hear audio, I tried on youtube and no sound, if I open vst and midi libraries they can be heard....the kext should be installed...
Thanks

Rebuilding the Kernel Cache would be a sensible option, after copying the kext to the /Library/Extensions folder.

Ok, can you explain in detail how to do it?
Thanks

Easiest way is to use the tool in Hackintool.
  1. Open Hackintool and navigate to the Utilities tab.
  2. Select the 'Rebuild KextCache and Repair Permissions' icon, last icon on the right.
  3. Follow the instructions in Hackintool.

Simples!

Ok, rebuilt the kernel cache, it asked me to authorize privacy and security and then to reboot but it still doesn't work I can't hear audio.
Thanks for your patience

I assume you have rebooted the system after rebuilding the KextCache, and then tried the audio.

Yes, I did it this way

Is the kext loading after you reboot the system?

Run the following command in a Terminal window:

kextstat | grep -v com.apple

Post a screenshot of the results.

Ok, here..
Thanks
