Mojave Preview and App Store Login Not Working

My finder preview for jpgs isn't working, I found a couple of threads on here but there are multiple workarounds or fixes and am not sure what the actual correct fix for me is that isn't a temporary "band aid or workaround." Additionally when I try to login to the app store, it continues to show the sign in and doesn't save nor update that I signed in so I'm unable to use the app store.

Hello.

1) There is no "real" solution to the Preview/Quick Look problem because building a Hackintosh is full of compromises to address problems. Generally this doesn't happen with genuine Macs (although a few will say it does). As you've discovered in your research, many found that just changing their System-Definition to prioritise their iGPU over the dGPU worked, but this is as much of a 'workaround' as anything else. Extra kexts are part and parcel of the Hackintosh scene, and there's no shame in just using NoVPAJpeg.kext. It just depends on whether you have an issue with that.

2) This might be due to your NVRAM emulation.

Woke up to my computer this morning that had a kernal panic. I think I had a similar one to this in the past. It looks like it has to do with my NVME.

So just changing my smbios corrected the jpeg preview and quicklook, it also fixed my app store, but oddly reset my chrome browser so my extensions disappeared so I had to reinstall them and also re-login to spotfiy and reset my itunes to the first time walkthrough.
