I've been trying to mod about this mac on mountain lion but I can't find the file that is mentioned in the tutorial below
Help!

Weird thing is it ended up working fine for a friend's system, but after creating a new partition and performing a fresh install of Mavericks - this is all I get after opening up the com.apple.systemprofiler.plist

I am having the same exact issue! Did a clean install and my system profiler doesn't show any date just says "Mac Pro". Anybody have any ideas?

Mac has a 3,1 definition, motherboard is GA-Z87X-UD3H, using samsung 840 ssd, 8gb of 2x 4gb sticks kingston hyper x memory, core i5 processor.

Last time I had this kind of fun was 15 years back, when I was modifying the config files
for duke nukem 3d, giving punches and kicks the result to explode the enemies upon touch.

I'm trying to mod the More Info section in About My Mac and I've followed everything and once I get to English.lproj the folder is empty and there's nothing I can do. Any help?

The problem I am having is even though I replaced the icns file, the image stays the same! I am 100% sure that I modified the right image.

Funny thing is when I was testing my install using Clover I could set which Mac I had. The image never changed, just always showed the MacBook Air.

*Update: Turns out this was already answered. Apparently, Mavericks hides this stuff now.
