Memory corrupted after longer sleep

Spoke too soon: 6 days without a KP and BAM... one in the last minute waking from sleep...

I'll have to build the F10b beta BIOS with Ozmosis inside...

Good luck. There is F10c at tweaktown.

Trying now f10b ozmosis modded BIOS. This one is supposed to fix memory compatibility.

Thanks.

First KP i've had ever since updating to the Beta BIOS. Never seen one like this before. Anyone come across one similar ? Hopefully it's just a once off thing from a power drop or somthing. Though my wifi has been acting weird this morning. Might have to take a look at that.

@VirtualRecess

4x 4gb DIMM... Did you check this thread, brousseau posted before?

Here i've got no KP at all. Are you using Nvidia Webdriver? I had trouble before without it.

Solved in my case (I've been waiting at least two weeks to be sure):

GA-Z97X-UD3H f10 beta BIOS and no more KP or blue screen after long periods of sleep.

As for VirtualRecess: I would think that the fix is for 4x8GB of RAM but maybe filling the 4 slots is the real problem. How long without any KP before that?

It was a once off thing lucky. My router was acting strange for all devices connected. Rebooted it and all started working again in the end. I think what happened was when my Hack woken during sleep to access the internet via Power Nap. The router caused something to mess up the network resulting in the KP.

I had unexplainable sleep/wake problems when I bump up from 16GB to 32GB. Turns out, the particular version # of my RAM chip is the cause of the problem. version 3.29 was problematic for me... would go to sleep, and I can wake up fine only if I do it within first few seconds. Anything longer, if I wake up, it would reboot, due to crash. Replaced that RAM and now sleep/wake works fine.

So don't rule out it may be your memory sticks that may be the cause of sleep/wake problems!

Same for me today after over one month without any KP or sleep failure... Did it happened again after on your side?

Okay, i got something to tell too.
I got into strange trouble with my usb banking card reader. Since a few weeks the device keeps rebooting right after kernel loading. Only fix to circumvent this: remove FakePCIID kext. I really don't know what's going on. I tried any possible way to restore to older configs, kexts etc. but it won't go away. On fresh install of Sierra it works fine again, but a few reboots later that damn device gets that hickups again. Before it worked normal with FakePCIID installed. Same system, same BIOS config, same Clover, same everything.o_O
What i secondly found out: if FakePCIID kext is installed, i get random reboots while sleep or non working USB devices after wake. I never had anything like this before. It must be some updated component, i didn't think of...

But i've found a solution. There is a fix for XWAK method to always return zero. That fixed my sleep/wake problem at least. Maybe it helps someone of you too. Here is a good tutorial to do this. For those who are unexperienced in DSDT/SSDT editing should read this guide first.
