You can try this one. Is the vanilla just patched for hdmi audio.

See post #8. I think antonioj07 may have a Sandy Bridge CPU and therefore HD3000. Because the kext pack claimed to be working is one with the IDs swapped for the Intel MEI device which is expressly for mixed systems. The ProBook Installer does a DSDT patch for this scenario instead of patching kexts.

It is always important to understand for sure what hardware you have. Guessing doesn't cut it.

Rehabman, i booted into windows, just to be sure, and as you can see i do have i5 ivy and hd4000

Now, i did as suggested, went back to vanila kexts, and finally got hd4000 working...BUT, the damn graphical glitches do not stop (in launchpad, safari, etc) :(

What is your chipset? Run 'lspci -nn' on Linux Terminal.

Have you extracted and patched your own DSDT (or used the ProBook Installer to patch native DSDT)?

I followed the guide to patch my own DSDT...maybe i should o it again...

Here´s what i got running the command:

That looks fine. And yes, you should be sure you patched DSDT correctly. Use the ProBook Installer if you're not sure how to do it.

At this point, you should also do a fresh install. And follow the guide as posted.

It is possible you patched your DSDT with 07_MEI_4x40s_Sandy.txt or used 4x40s_SandyBridge.txt.

Made a new clean install, avoiding the kext from ox86 this time. I patched my own dsdt again.

Curious thing is that i only managed to activate hd4000 with vanilla kext given by kpkp...however, i still have the graphical glitches :banghead:

What should i do?

Supposedly kpkp's kext is only patched for HDMI-audio. Have you tried the unpatched vanilla kext that comes with OS X? Have you tried using the ProBook Installer to patch DSDT? Because you haven't explained exactly what DSDT patches you're applying...

First i used the probook installer to patch the dsdt....then i used my own

Regarding the kexts that come with OSX, i need someone to provide them, because i deleted them from the usb installer :/ Shouldn't i need AppleIntelFramebufferCapri.kext too?

Re-create your Unibeast installer or otherwise extract them from the "Install OS X Mavericks.app"

Yes, AppleIntelFramebufferCapri is the framebuffer for HD4000.

Will do, i´ll dowload the installer from the mac App Store again

What about AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB.kext, should i install it again?
