Hi im new to this so sorry in advance for any mistakes i make.
My system is a new build and i wasn't able to boot into the installer without using the boot flag -x and i it worked. Now that everything is done i still can't boot without using -x .... i tried to see how long it takes to boot up without it and it's already been over 9 minutes and all i can see is the apple logo with that loading circle under it :banghead:

my specs are
Gigabyte GA-Z97X-SOC
Kingston 8 GB RAM
2 TB harddrive (soon adding a ssd)
i7-4790k 4.4 GHz (not overclocked)
nVidia GTX 770 with 2GB VRAM

oh and in system information it shows that my gtx 770 has 0MB of VRAM -,-
