Any suggestions how to fix this?

Combo Update does not restore the native kext. The localization files were removed. Only way to get the native kext is with an Installer.

You mean by extracting the kext file out of the installer and then manually install it in S/L/E? Tried this too with no success.

Install Mavericks on a spare partition.

can some one please help i tried following the Haswell HDMI Audio (with dsdt edits) section in the guide
but still have no audio.

Hello. I have Asrock Z77 Extreme 4, Intel G2030 (integrated graphics turned off in BIOS), Asus GTX 560 (non Ti), Clover bootloader, Mavericks 10.9.4, native AppleHDA. Can u help me please witch guide i should use? I don't need integrated audio ALC898, PC pluged to TV through DVI-HDMI cable.

The guide actually used was HD4600+/8 Series HDMI Audio (dsdt or ssdt) - Desktop
Framebuffer edits required. See Post #1.

I patched DSDT with this

uefi1-hdmi_audio-1.txt

In system report/Sound i see HDMI output/Display Port but system preferences/sound/output is empty.
