macOS Sierra PB: Need testers for new AMD Radeon drivers!

friends, I tested r9 280x and rx 480 cards. result in FCP almost identical. In case of installation both cards at the same time the result of FCP (export) was again same (from two cards of any acceleration), and in Luxmark an acceleration twice. If there are at whom 2 identical cards (or 280x, or rx480) test please in FCP for export from one card of rx480 and from two rx480

I've done this and the 480s are faster. With 2 480s I'm at an 10-11s BruceX. With 2 280x I think I was closer to 23s.

Asus and GIGABYTE RX CARDS have been more difficult to get working, the XFX RX 480s all models have been reported to work well.

Is there any hope to login in without iGpu?

If you use your 750 ti as a IGPU by putting it in pcie slot 1 and the RX in slot 2. You use the 750 as primary display output and the RX will run in integrated graphics mode.

They double their performance in open CL, but the open GL Mac OS they act as a single card (no crossfire support).

wait, why is this extremely bad news? RX480 should still work with AMD9510Controller.kext, we'll just never get native support for the GPU or am I missing something??

Also, the "Night Sift" ability sounds good. F.lux and redshift don't work very well on my multi monitor setup.

They removed the other frame buffers there's only Berbice left. Support for the Fury cards, and R9 290s?


Let us hope there is a 9520kext, 9530kext etc....

Pavo didn't mention yet if his RX 480 is still working?
