DO NOT INSTALL if you use nvidia web drivers. nvidia web drivers incompatible. You will go into a kernel panic loop from nvidia drivers i they are present after installing this update. Even if you disable them in options. Thank god I had a full cloned backup, so I can now uninstall them completely to make make volume bootable again.
If your Hacintosh goes into a kernel panic loop, try my solution to this:
- Pull the NVIDIA GTX card from your mainboard.
- Boot you Hacintosh with built-in (Intel) video. Check Inject Intel on Clover Options before booting into macOS High Sierra is necessary.
- Update the NVIDIA Web Driver with the latest version, then shut down and power-off your Hackintosh.
- Insert the NVIDIA GTX card back.
- Turn on the Hackintosh. It should work.
