I did a fresh install..

Had no data on OS drive so it was just a loss of applications/re-installation etc.

Initial value at 128, i increased to 256 and then 512. Still stuck at loading screen with apple logo.

128 should be fine.
Boot in verbose mode and post a picture of the screen when it stops.

Is it mandatory to use KextBeast? I could not get KB to work, but I could get into the directory and drop Lilu and IntelGraphicsFixup there. However, my machine hangs at the grey apple.

try kext wizard, don't drop kexts to S/L/E or L/E
