Is there a way i can update clover from command line? as i'm unable to login. it was working fine for 10.12.4 before update.
You could boot with an invalid ig-platform-id from the Clover boot loader screen.
You could boot from Clover on a USB.
You could attach your hard drive to another Hack/Mac and upgrade Clover on it.

Intel HD 5xx/6xx Graphics (Skylake & Kabylake) users:

There are changes to the new 10.12.5 Intel graphics drivers which may cause black screen or hang on boot. If you can't boot to desktop after updating, uncheck Inject Intel in Clover boot menu under Options/Graphics Injector/Inject Intel:

When you reach the desktop, install the following kexts to /Library/Extensions using KextBeast:

Lilu.kext
IntelGraphicsFixup.kext

You may also install the kexts before you update. The addition of these kexts should allow you to boot- we are looking into using Clover's KextstoPatch for a permanent solution.

Please post a reply if this has/hasn't worked for your system.

Hi.

I tried to run this kext with kext beast. Didn´t work, it starts loading os with apple logo, the bar goes to 3/4 and restarts every time after booting.

Today Apple released 10.12.5, the fifth major update to macOS Sierra. Update any supported system using the built-in Software Update functionality through the Mac App Store, or by using the standalone installer available from Apple.com.

Be sure to back up any important data, and if possible clone your hard drive before applying the update. If you have any issues post-update, boot using UniBeast created USB, press spacebar, and boot using Safe Mode.

What we know about 10.12.5 so far...
  • macOS Build 16F73
  • Kernel updated to Darwin 16.6.0
  • Updated Intel, NVIDIA, and AMD graphics drivers
  • This update will replace your audio drivers. If you enabled Realtek onboard audio using MultiBeast or the cloverALC script, no changes will be necessary.
  • Install macOS Sierra App has been updated - If you downloaded macOS Sierra from the App Store prior to today, and you want to have the latest version on your backup installer USB, simply log into the Mac App Store and click Download. The updated 10.12.5 Install macOS Sierra App can be found in the Applications folder. You may then re-create your UniBeast installation USB.
Testing is now underway- this post will be updated. Good luck, and let us know how it goes! Report your results here.

After update I stuck at reboot loop with injectintel+lilu+igfx+latest clover+latest fakesmc.
I had only access with fakeid and no graphics acceleration.
The problem caused by DVI port when I changed the display cable with HDMI everything went back to normal.
Spend too much time for one simple thing...

For me it continues to restart every time after the apple logo appears on reboot.

Upgrade to 10.12.5 (from 10.12.3) went perfectly today. Upgraded Clover first, applied 10.12.5 update, and then reinstalled my NVIDIA drivers (through NVIDIA driver manager preference pane). So far everything appears to be working just fine (wifi, usb, etc)...

Couldn't thank you enough. Problem is with clover. it took some time for me to understand on how to update clover from UEFI.
Thanks for all the help.
