Mac OS X 10.6.6 Update - The Official Thread

Updated my system through software update and no issues

System spec:
gigabyte x58a-udr3 v2 FB bios with DSDT
core i7 920
6gb ram
dual boot os x/win 7
nvidia 8800gt
presonus firestudio mobile

many thanks to all on this forum (which i've read thoroughly). i built my hackintosh with no issues at all thanks to everyones helpful posts and tonymacs guides.

Software updated my UD3R / i7-950 system without a hitch. Everything works great after reboot! Install took like 1 to 2 minutes, good ole SSD FTW.

I never did the usb fix. didnt see you had to do it before update. Im stuck at my login screen now! My ps2 keyboard doesn't seem to work once osx is booted!?

Really struggling for a solution. Cant rollback either as I have no back up device.

No problems, I used the automatic software update and it just took 8 minutes.
All is fine.

Installed no problems... on restart the finder was acting odd...dock would not reveal, menu items did not highlight when rolled over...

ran multibeast system utils, restarted...things are good!

Ran the 10.6.6 update, but now I'm unable to boot without iboot. Otherwise everything functions - usb/lan/audio.

Installed via Software Update , restarted and full working , only problem is my dock when i put my mouse over the dock and scroll the dock get little vibration need to fix whit gpu driver or patch from apple..q6600 - p5q-deluxe - 960gt -dualbootw7.64-osx
Install via Software Update "OSX 10.6.X | Maximum 10.6.4"
Install via Combo Update "OSX 10.6.5 | Only"
