M-audio Firewire solo crashing with Logic Pro 9! Help!

Greetings!

My desktop is running very stable with lion 10.7.5, but I work with audio and unfortunately it only freezes when I connect my M-Audio Firewire solo external sound drive to work with Logic Pro 9. It only happens sometimes, but randomly it starts to have some processor drop outs (the mouse starts with breaks) and then it freezes. Is it a kext issue? Anybody can help please?

Did you ever get sorted with your firewire issues?

It sounds like i'm experiencing something similar… Mouse begins to get jittery and then freezes leaving no console error.

Seems almost random sometimes - can have great stretches of use and then bang.
