Luxmark OpenCL Benchmark Updated to 2.1 for OS X 10.9

The openCL implementation in older Nvidia cards is no very good. That is why most bit coin mining and FCPX support is done using Radeon cards.
This will likely change with the new generation of cards - IE GTX 750TI

Here's a couple of Radeon 7950

even a GTX670? i wouldnt consider that an "older" card myself...
is nVidia performance on 10.8/10.9 really that bad? ~600 luxmark sala scores seems pretty pathetic.
it seems to me there is something really off here because even within this forum im reading about some people with GTX660 OCs getting near twice that score on the same benchmark, and the 660OC is a lower-performing card than 670. it seems like something is really wrong with my setup but I dont have the first idea where I should be looking.
am I just SOL there? seems really crappy to spend $250 on a video card with effectively no real boost what so ever.

There are getting double the score because it's also using the CPU on the benchmark. on my setup if I use both, CPU + GPU got 1122 but when only the GPU is used, i'm getting a solid 694 score.

Using Asus GTX 550 Ti with the latest nVidia web driver 334.01.01f01

After 6 hours to downgrade my Hackintosh from 10.9.3 to 10.8.4 OpenCL and system performance slightly increased :)

My system specs are :

i7 920 ( no overclock )
Asus P6T mobo
24 GB Kingston 1600MHz RAM ( 6 x 4 GB )
Nvidia GTX 570
Kingston V300 SSD
