Can we say that the majority of 5600 and 5700 cards are compatible regardless of the brand? (i.e. MSI, Gigabyte, ASUS)

No I couldn't fix it. I returned the card. I'm trying to see if different 5500 XT brands might work or not. Any lucks?

How did you you get that show booting screen? So maybe it wasn't because the brand. I guess my config wasn't correct somehow? Can you share your boot configuration or MOBO bios setting?

01 nvme m.2 silicon power 500GB and
01 pci exprepss to install the ssd.
Installation
1. opencore method
2. Catalina 10.15.5
3. adm radeon rx 5500 xt
4. 8GB DDR3 2400
5. I7 3770K
6. GIGABYTE Z77X UD5H

now everything works fine.
I need to learn to overclock my cpu, I want to set it to 4.2, as I do in windows OS.

Hey guy ! Juste received my RX 5700 XT Pulse, which looks like a beats compared tot he RX 580, but I'm facing a problem (see screenshots). I use lilu+weg and added agdpmod=pikera, but it doesn't work. Everything works fine with the RX 580 Pulse, with the same config (minus agdpmod=pikera). I also test the RX 5700 under windows and the card is not faulty. Could it be the SMBIOS (19,1)? Should I remove WEG altogether as suggested here and there on various websites? Does anyone has a bit of time to help me sort this out?

Ps: I tried in safe mode also, then it hanged at "I080211Controller:"...

EDIT : Problem solved. If that can help someone here is what happened. My Config.plist didn't have injectAti enabled in cloverconfigurator, in text mode it didn't have inject ATI as true or as false. The fix was to specify it as false in text mode. Then it worked like a charm. To sum it up on my config :

• Lilu + WEG
• Agdpmod=pikera
• Set InjectATi to false

If anyone has an idea why the plist behaved that way, I'd love to know...

So I'm having the same problem as multiple people here. I'm using 5700 XT Pulse with Z390 Designare, i9 9900k with OpenCore 0.5.9. I have been runing 10.15.3 with OC 0.5.7 for a few months perfectly with no problem. Recently updated to 10.15.5 and then 10.15.6 and keep getting black screen on boot. Switched to windows and the card is working perfectly so it is not faulty card. I tried everything from switching to HDMI port to different DP port, with or without agdpmod=pikera, nothing is working, the only thing that made it boot is to take off WEG kext, which is not ideal because WEG do more than just boot it up.

Anybody encountered the same thing?

@MiltonDomingo78 I have thesame board with 10.13.6 and Im doing reaserch how can I upgrade my card from 980Ti to RX5700 OC Can you tell direct me to more details How to? What is "opencore method"?
