Sorry for the lack of focus Toleda.
I am trying to figure out where my sound is coming from.
I do not think it is the sound chip on card.
Is there a way to tell ?

I was also interested in the Intel Management system in the bios but this is off the thread.
I got to this thread from Khan's post. I will try there for this.

If System Preferences/Sound/Output/HDMI makes sound on the TV, the graphics codec is doing the audio.
