It is a Haswell based system, yes? Then yes it is fully supported. Up to Monterey 12, but not Ventura as Haswell support has been removed with Ventura. Check out the link below for the Opencore bootloader guide for Haswell laptops.

Yes mines has the Intel i5-4300m, Intel HD 4600 graphics

I asked because there's no definitive guide for the t540p. There's guides on the w541 but most don't work for my model. Not a newbie just trying to find some legit information.
