Hello.
Recently I've been trying really hard to learn how to install OSX on my laptop.

I have created a bootable USB following this tutorial: http://www.tonymacx86.com/374-unibeast-install-os-x-mavericks-any-supported-intel-based-pc.html

Than I had a problem with early restart, so I found this solution to patch kernel: http://www.tonymacx86.com/mavericks...p-envy-15-j063cl-i7-4700mq-37.html#post697692

It went further, but now I am stuck at this screen:

Can you please point me in the right direction?

You're getting Local APIC errors. Make sure you apply both patches to mach_kernel.

Thank you very much RehabMan !
I have now applied both patches (screen from md5 check: Screen Shot 2014-04-07 at 3.26.54 AM.png ) md5 is the same as posted on your post:
Code:
[COLOR=#000000]10.9.2 mach_kernel [/COLOR][COLOR=#000000]patched with both: 68d82160351204af5dad5d7414fdefa9[/COLOR]

I think the result doesn't differ much, at least the last line:

Can you please give me some advice?

Edit:
Also, cpus=1 didn't work.

You need to install Chameleon and use:
IntelAzulFB=12 GraphicsEnabler=Y -v -f UseKernelCache=N dart=0

Lenovo B5400, i3-4000m, Intel HD 4600 installation problem

It seems that I'm stuck in the same place..
After trying for 2 days to follow your advice to install Chameleon and run with those flags I have the most basic problem I can imagine..

I can't install Chameleon! After using Chameleon pkg and later, when it didnt give any result Chameleon Wizard I still have red apple (Multibeast) bootloader.

When I boot with those flags you provided I get following screen:
2014-04-10 00.32.50.jpg

So I figured I would install Chameleon on another USB pendrive and try that way. I did, managed to boot Chameleon with mentioned flags, but still, no-go:

Maybe I should try different install method? My computer is capable of booting EFI, at least from I can tell from BIOS.

More help much appreciated.
Regards,
Qb.

You are likely confusing boot loader 'theme' (graphics/icons) with the actual boot loader. Check your boot loader with 'bdmesg|head' in Terminal.

When I boot with those flags you provided I get following screen:

You're getting Local APIC error. Install the kernel patcher module or patch the mach_kernel for lapic panic as well as XPCM.

Can you please post some link to resources I need?

Google is an excellent resource.

The kernel patcher module (KernelPatcher.dylib) is available from Chameleon Wizard.
