Hi,
I found this old LB-Link BL-WN151 USB wifi adapter hanging around, thought it would be a great alternative to using USB tether via my phone. I uninstalled the HoRNDIS drivers, rebooted and installed the drivers for this dongle from http://download.cukii.com/lblink/drivers/BL-WN151-DRIVERS-FOR-MAC-20150429.dmg
Then I rebooted again, and it shows on the Mediatek Wireless Utility that it has successfully connected to my router, but when I open up anything, e.g Chrome, it only shows either DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET or DNS_PROBE_STARTED. So long story short, it just connects to my router but not to the internet.
Also, I discovered that it was a RT2870 chip judging from the Linux driver files, so I installed these drivers from another thread: http://www.tonymacx86.com/network/1...et-usb-dongle-wifi-10-10-yosemite-solved.html
Same result, connects to router but no internet.
Any ideas on what I should do? I'm using OS X 10.10.5 on a Lenovo Y50. Thanks in advance!
