Yeah I had that issue. I just changed the option to use the Web drivers from the toolbar at the top of the screen instead of the prefpane.

For what its worth, I removed all the native graphics kexts using Terminal with the command:
mv AppleIntelHD* AppleIntelSNB* AMDRadeon* ATI* GeForce* NVDA*
