Hi guys!

I'm very grateful for your work, it's nice.
I tried to install OSX El Capitan on my Sony Vaio laptop with latest UniBeast 6.0.1 and selecting Legacy-Nvidia, but when installation start, my keyboard and trackpad not work. This is my laptop:https://www.sony.co.uk/support/en/co...VPCCW1S1E/list

I can see the first panel on installation which say "To set up installation of OS X, click Continue", but I can't continue. :banghead:

I tried a lot of solutions; add kexts, add flags, another bootloaders... I read thousands of posts but I didn't find a solution.

Anyone could help me? Thank you so much!

Follow the Clover guide linked from the FAQ.

Hi RehabMan!

Thank u for reply :)

I'm following Clover Guide and I found some issues:

- "drivers64UEFI" folder does not have OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi, I found it on Google and I put it in folder.
- Guide say "Remove EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.6, 10.7, 10.8, 10.9, 10.10, leaving just 'Other'", but I have 10.11 file too, remove it?
- Which Ethernet kext I need? How I know it?
- Ethernet kext "IntelMausiEthernet.kext" there is not.
- Command sudo "/Applications/Install OS X El Capitan.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia" --volume /Volumes/install_osx --applicationpath "/Applications/Install OS X El Capitan.app" --nointeraction not work, I removed quotes and it worked.

I can't edit my BIOS because Sony Vaio is very restrictive.

Finally, I booted USB and I get this error: System uptime in nanoseconds: xxxxxxxx. Next, system was rebooted.

That's all, I don't know what I should do now. Thanks!

It is available in the Clover installer.

- Guide say "Remove EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.6, 10.7, 10.8, 10.9, 10.10, leaving just 'Other'", but I have 10.11 file too, remove it?

Yes.

- Which Ethernet kext I need? How I know it?

The one that matches your Ethernet hardware. You can determine that later.

- Ethernet kext "IntelMausiEthernet.kext" there is not.

Link is provided in FAQ.

- Command sudo "/Applications/Install OS X El Capitan.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia" --volume /Volumes/install_osx --applicationpath "/Applications/Install OS X El Capitan.app" --nointeraction not work, I removed quotes and it worked.

It works as written.

Finally, I booted USB and I get this error: System uptime in nanoseconds: xxxxxxxx. Next, system was rebooted.

Boot verbose, show photo. Post EFI/Clover folder.

No. Not a file listing. Actual folder as ZIP, attached.

Also, please fill out your profile with hardware details.

Please provide complete details in your profile/signature
(Profile/Settings link in upper right corner of this site)

Mobo: manufacturer/model + bootloader(Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
Mobo: HP ProBook 4540s (Clover)
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

Note: When specifying your bootloader, if using Clover legacy, please be sure to specify "Clover legacy"). Specifying "Clover" will be assumed as "Clover UEFI"

Ok, sorry. I send it you now. View attachment CLOVER.zip

I read in Clover Guide about kernel panic in a AppleUSBUHCIPCI. I found some solutions and I tried it. I got DSDT.aml using linux but did not solve my problem. Another solution to me could be block IOUSBFamily.kext but I don't know how block kext files and I did not find how do it.

I have wrotten my profile with hardware details as you said.

Thanks!

If you made no changes to DSDT.aml in ACPI/patched, no need to put it there. The only reason to extract DSDT and place in ACPI/patched is to patch (eg. change) it.

You have old hardware... will be challenging.

Your panic is in USB kexts. You might take a look at the methods discussed here:

It must have solution, because using UniBeast I did not have any kernel panic.

One question, where is S/L/E? I don't find this folder.

Thank you so much!

/S/L/E is short for /System/Library/Extensions
