Hello -

Installing Mountain Lion on a Sony VCG-LT16E (all-in-one) desktop, using a USB HDD formatted with UniBeast 10.8.

I get the following errors when trying time and again (tried multiple combinations of arguments/troubleshooting), and am unable to get to the setup screen due to kernel panic and the need to reboot.

I'm wondering if there is any chance you have a suggestion to get this to be able to install?

Error 1

Error 2

Snapshot fo the BIOS (it's pretty basic, and so not sure it should work at all)

TIA -

Hi barl0w,

Excuse me for saying so but I think your system is too antiquated to be able to run Mountain Lion. It is because you are using a Core 2 Duo system and using Intel's GMA X3100 graphics. As far as we know, Mountain Lion no longer supports these two items (not even a white '06 Macbook can run this), hence you are having this problem. Your best bet compatibility-wise is to install either Lion 10.7.4 with Unibeast+Multibeast method, or Snow Leopard 10.6 with iBoot 3.30.
