Java Issues :(

Hi, my hackintosh is working flawlessly except for the fact that java is screwed up. Files with a .jar extension act like .zip files! Any solutions will help!

Have you tried running your jar file on Terminal.app?

java -jar yourfile.jar

Wish I could say the same.
I get error: Unable to access jarfile file.jar

I'm running OSX10.11.6
I recently installed java 9.0.1 and that is when the trouble started.
Seems a few people are running into this problem since loading el capitan on even mac machines but none of the solutions
work on mine.
