12.4 (macbookpro12,1) and 11.6.7 (macbookpro11,4) usb install boot up same issue. stops with fuzzy screen and circle with line through it.

happens just after BuildActDeviceExit

with the new re-checks and quick edits etc

other efi_backup_.zip oc efi for 12.4 from github for 840g1 - works and super fast bootup with filevault2 on

it works ONLY with 12.3.1 not 12.4 usb installer


with 12.4 usb installer get the same fuzzy screen with circle and line through it.

with all the above combos of bootloaders clover oc 0.6x 0.7x 0.8x 12.31 12.4 11.67 etc

12.4 11.6.7 does a deliberate kp when it detects a 32 bit efi or kext through oc? etc?
