Hello,

I successfully install High Sierra on my GL502VT laptop by seting ig-platform-id to 0x12345678.

However, I can not get Intel HD530 to work.

The screen is glitching on login and I can see only 10 MB on graphic card ram.

The screen is fussy when trying to switch Safari tab etc.

I searched and tried various ways on this forum and other places but still have no success.

Attached is my HDD EFI content.

Any guidance would be much appreciated.

MacBookPro13,1 would be a better choice

Hello Feartech,

I had to revert to a working version of EFI in order to dump the system information.

So the CLOVER folder is a bit difference from the one I attached in previous post.

Please check attached files.

MacBookPro11,2 is still wrong

kexts belong in /Library/Extensions and not /System/Library/Extensions

and all your kexts should be installed to /L/E

Hello Feartech,

1. I will change to MacBookPro13,1

2. Do you mean I have to delete all kexts from /System/Library/Extensions and install in /Library/Extensions instead?

3. What about kexts in EFI/CLOVER/kexts?

4. Are the settings in config.plist correct?

1: good
2: only delete the kexts you installed there
3: keep only essential kexts in clover/kexts/other
4: looks ok but you will need to enable these:
Code:
<key>Fixes</key>
            <dict>
                <key>Comment-IRQ Fix</key>
                <string>The following fixes may be needed for onboard audio/USB/etc</string>
                <key>FixHPET</key>
                <false/>
                <key>FixIPIC</key>
                <false/>
                <key>FixRTC</key>
                <false/>
                <key>FixTMR</key>
                <false/>
            </dict>

Code:
<key>PciRoot(0)/Pci(0x1f,3)</key>
            <dict>
                <key>#hda-gfx</key>
                <string>onboard-1</string>
                <key>#layout-id</key>
                <integer>3</integer>
                <key>#no-controller-patch</key>
                <integer>1</integer>
            </dict>

Hello Feartech,

I still stuck in the reboot loop.

I did the following:

1. Changed to MacBookPro13,1

2. Cleaned /System/Library/Extensions of my installation and install my kexts into /Library/Extensions

3. Made changes to config.plist as you will see in attached problem report files.

Any guidance please.

use config.plist from the laptop untouched

Thank you for your feedback.

Regarding files in drivers64UEFI folder can you tell me what files are needed?
