Hi

I can boot perfectly into a fully working laptop running Mavericks 10.9.4 minus wifi if I use the Unibeast USB stick, however I want to use the EFI partition on my laptop which has been formatted to Fat32 and I use the Clover Bootloader which I can only get booting into Mavericks if I use the Intel Graphics Patch from the latest Multibeast ... the problem then is that the Intel HD 3000 kext does not load :(

Anybody got any ideas on how I can fix this?

Cheers in advance

What are your hardware specs? CPU, chipset, screen resolution?

Below is all the Hardware plus I am using a WLAN dongle using RT8188CUS driver all good ... however I can only boot from EFI if I use Clover and the Intel GPU patch from Multibeast which seems to then loose the Intel HD 3000 kext

According to what you provide for hardware details, the "Intel graphics patch for mixed systems" does not apply to your system. You have HD3000 on 6-series -- not mixed.

But Clover cannot easily inject the correct snb-platform-id. You must patch DSDT.

See here: https://github.com/RehabMan/Laptop-DSDT-Patch
Apply: "HD3000 Low Resolution"

Restore Intel graphics kexts to vanilla (prior to applying Multibeast "mixed" patch).

hey Rehabman i ran through the suggestion you made but i still get corrupt graphics when booting using clover... any ideas?

Post config.plist, DSDT.aml, and...

Please provide complete details in your profile/signature
(Profile/Settings link in upper right corner of this site)

System: manufacturer/model
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
System: HP ProBook 4540s
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx). For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

Ok here is the info Rehabman ... ps I have not modified config.plist + patched DSDT with HD3000 Low Res inc

Ok here is the info Rehabman ... ps I have not modified config.plist + patched DSDT with HD3000 Low Res inc

set:
config.plist/Graphics/Inject/Intel: false
config.plist/Boot/Arguments: dart=0

Turn off all DSDT "fixes" in config.plist/ACPI/DSDT
(bad idea to turn a bunch of stuff like that on)

config.plist/SMBIOS section should be set MacBookPro8,1. Use Clover Configurator.

Nice One Rehabman! Graphics fixed and can boot to desktop :) ... seems to be intermittent thou as I get Kernel Panics every other boot.
