Hi All,

thank you for the good guides and support on the forum.

i would like to upgrade my dell from catalina 10.15.7 which i was using (clover) and everything is working fine including graphics accelerator and touch screen, now i would like to upgrade to Sonoma and i have follow the opencore guide as per the below link:


attached is my efi folder who can check i am getting the below error:

[ahci][prt][00170000] abortcommands::5382

you really need to setup your USB Ports correctly

do you really need Sonoma?

as Ventura was really the last macOS version to properly support your kabylake system

although you can spoof your smbios as a coffeelake system

it could do... but maybe try Ventura
ok ill try, but my question what is the easiest way to setup my USB Ports correctly, below showing my hackintool

Details modified, i have done the port configuration and delete USBinjectALL and reboot and everything is working fine, now i will setup the Ventura and let you know the result, thanks.
moved to Ventura Desktop Support...
