Hey all,

I know you can set your hackintosh system definitions to whatever via multibeast, but I'm not sure in what ways it significantly affects your Hackintosh. I have a Skylake desktop which I think is set to the default iMac definition, but maybe I should be setting it to something else?

Thanks all.

Versions of OS X including Sierra iMac OS, contain code that will attempt to load during the boot process only those portion of the operating system that matches the hardware which is consistent with what Apple used in real Apple hardware. The sysdef you use is the key for the operating system
to determine what to load during booting.
The closer your hardware is to the hardware of the Apple sysdef. you have chosen for your hack, the
less problematic your build will usually turn out to be.
