What I said was, use a spare USB drive and install clover then use your config.plist, kexts,dsdt and ssdt if you using these patches and try building your EFI like my example, then boot up off the usb drive and see if the machine is stable which would give you an idea as to what is necessary or not.

I was using new mac pro smbios 2019 or 2020 version, depends when it is released it will not work for imessage
Even though debugger showed all okay

so for now I using iMac 19,1 Z390 i9-9900k

My iMessage and FaceTime are broken and won’t sign in after updating to Catalina 10.5.5 supplemental update recently. Same behavior across all my hacks.
