Hi iJanni and Stork,
I solved my problems. I had to edit the boot.plist to include the resolution specs and now it is displaying properly through DVI-D. The onboard Intel graphics card works great just as the CustoMac link indicated.
I also solved the boot problem (which i had no idea how and why), but what i did was buying a SATA HD 320Gb, and installed ML on it. For some odd reason my previous 1TB Hitachi HD was having kernel panic and wouldn't boot at all. Apart from that, i also installed Windows XP just so that i could upgrade the BIOS to the latest from Gigabyte's website. (Had no idea how to upgrade BIOS while having ML installed)
Now everything is working: audio, video, LAN, wifi, sleep, and the rest.
Thanks for sharing your build with us, really appreciate your efforts.
