HP Probook 4540s Choice of WIFI Adapter "MAVERICKS COMPATIBLE ONLY"

If it will work on HP ProBooks then no issues. I don't want open my Laptop due to warranty issues.

What "warranty issues?" The WiFi card is available via a cover easily removed...

You can put the original wifi card back before warranty claim.
