Your drivers64UEFI is wrong. OsxAptioFix2, OsxAptioFix, and OsxLowMemFix are mutually exclusive. Choose only one.
Eliminate CsmVideoDxe, and other drivers not needed...
Typical content is only:
EmuVariableUefi-64.efi
OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi
HFSPlus.efi
FSInject-64.efi
DataHubDxe-64.efi

Your ACPI configuration is wrong. Using the _OSI->XOSI patch without SSDT-XOSI.aml is not valid (it breaks all calls to _OSI).

I didn't check anything else.

DONE. Problem remains.

DONE. Problem remains.

Files in ACPI/origin are from yesterday.
Need current extract, as per "Problem Reporting".

Suggestions though:
- try without "IRQ Fix" patch
- try without "Shutdown fix" patch
- did you try HaltEnabler=true?
- check BIOS settings
- make sure you test without any external devices plugged in

I tried all your recomendations however no one worked.
Haltenabler true does not help at all, and it prevents nvram.plist to work.

However I have a new track. As SATA LED stays on I though SATA may be the suspect.

Boot from only installed m2 Sata 128gb (EFI clover + System) Shutdown WORKS actually!!
Boot from m2 SATA 128gb (EFI clover + System) + installed 2.5 SSD shutdown fails
Boot from only installed 2.5 SATA (EFI clover + System) Shutdown fails
Boot from installed 2.5 SATA + installed m2 spare Shutdown fails

So the only reason why shutdown fails is the 2.5 Disc which seems to prevent shutdown.
So as soon as there is something plugged in 2.5 Port the shutdown is not working even if m2 slot is empty
I tryed to unomount the 2.5 Disc but it does not help only removing it completely the shutdown works.

Is it possible that ports for SATA need some tweeking like we did on USB?

In the Bios Settings (not much can be done):
TPM Device: Hidden
Intel Software Guard Extensions (SGX) Disabled
Virtualization: Disabled
FAN Always on: Disabled
Action Keys Mode: Enabled (changes FN + F-Key behavior)
USB Charging: Disabled
Battery Reamining Time: Disabled
Boot options:
USB Boot: Enabled
Network Boot: Disabled
Legacy Support: Disabled
Clear All Secure Keys (Done)
Load HP Factory Default Keys (not done)

The only which seem changes SSDT Files is the option USB Charging
DSDT seems always the same.

I will upload new problem reporting files of both setups (working only m2 and not working m2+2.5)

Attached both: Successfull shutdown without 2.5 disc, and unsuccessfull.
In both situations system booted from m2 device.

Done.

This notebook has Kaby Lake. New Apple devices also use Kaby Lake
Kext installed to S/L/E and Clover Other (seems essential??)

Same behaviour as before.

2.5 inch drive installed (even with no partition) => Shutdown not working Powerled On, SATA LED on.
Do you need new problem reporting files?

Only M2 installed => Shutdown perfect.

Probably is compatibility issue with the specific SATA device.
Might be issue with TRIM compatibility.
Try without TRIM patch.
You might also check to see that the device has the latest firmware.

Original installed 2,5 inch classic HDD shows same behaviour. Latest Fw and Bios already applied before the OSX86 project.

Also Trim was just enabled two days ago. Have same problem for weeks already.

It may be rather linked to the fact no notebook has two HDD in apple world.

My plan is now to change 2,5 inch port (PRT2 in DSDT) to hotpluggable and/or external. However DSDT changes do not apply. Can you check my files from above if something else (clover? kext?) is injecting SATA stuff. Or is some SSDT involved for this?

No "Problem Reporting" files attached.
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.

No need because no new firmware / Bios available. Problem reporting files already above. Problem the same with Trim disabled.

Files in Posting #124

I think only solution remains remove 2.5inch disc
