[HOW TO] Wi-Fi 6 Intel AX210 on macOS Sonoma

Hello, so I now have Ventura on it and also installed the Ax210. Everything was done exactly according to the instructions on page 1, BT works but WiFi absolutely doesn't want to turn on.

Can someone maybe see what the problem is?
Hello,

Check if/what is loaded. In a Terminal window, run this command :

admin@iMac ~ % kextstat | grep -v com.apple | grep Air

If you have Ventura, you may install the stable version (2.2.0) of AirportItlwm :

Cheers :)

Currently 2.3 beta Ventura is installed. When I install 2.2, the computer hangs in the boot loop when I restart and keeps restarting

I managed it but even with 2.2 Wifi doesn't start

Look at USB mapping kext -> Info.plist, there are 2 places where SMBIOS model is, change them to iMac20,1.

Hello,

In your Kexts folder there are "three files", all enabled (see below) !
You shoud investigate this and disable what is not needed :

a) keep only USBMap.kext ( and disable the other two files )
b) disable USBMap.kext ( and keep enabled the other two files)

Also, I think it is better to reorder the kexts in config.plist (i.e. USB mapping to come before Bluetooth related kexts).
But, it's up to you how to manage everything.

Cheers :)

Thanks

I deactivated USBMAP 1.0, the other two have to stay on otherwise USB won't work at all.

I also put everything USB in front of BT so that it is not perceived.

But it doesn't change anything about the WiFi, it still doesn't work

Here you can find some info about Compatibility, FAQ, Troubleshooting :

Also, check if you can gather some info about your card, similar to the line below ( from my Hackintool ):

Vendor 0x8086 (Intel)
Device 0x2725

So I have both Kext one after the other and never together without success.

The alpha versions were also tested.

In Hackintoll the map is not displayed in Windows, yes and it works there too.

In Windows :
To find the list of hardware IDs for a given device :

  1. Open Device Manager.
  2. Find the device in the tree.
  3. Right-select the device and select Properties.
  4. Select the Details tab.
  5. In the Property drop-down, select Hardware Ids or Compatible Ids.

In macOS open Hackintool > PCIe tab :

The map is at the bottom there.

When I press the magnifying glass on the far left, nothing happens.

For all others, extensions open.

Right mouse click only shows what is in the picture

OK, your device has the same ID as mine, 0x2725, but it is disabled !
Try to re-download it, may be something went wrong first time :

Also you may try to temporarily disable some kext and test ( BT, LAN, etc)

By the way : How does Innie.kext help ?
