How to Create a OS X El Capitan Public Beta Installation USB Using Clover

Was unable to get El Capitan to install using this method, I booted using just -v flag and there were a few times the verbose log hung.

First time I noticed a pause:

**** [IOBluetoothFamily][SearchForTransportEventTimeOutHandler] -- Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport!

It carried on after for a little while but hung here for ages and then booted but just went to a white screen with the spinning beachball:

M getting black screen after installation

Inject ATI, InjectEDID, LoadVBios, VideoPorts: 3, ATIConnectorsController: 6000. For SMBIOS I'm using MacBookPro10,1

Hi, I also have problem with error 255 when trying to run installer. I am trying to install Public Beta

I created installation usb via Clover method (using Clover_v2.3k_r3241), when installing clover to usb I chose Install for UEFI booting only, Install Clover in the ESP and OSXAptioFixDrv-64. After that I copied to EFI config with Intel 4000 enabled and added FakeSMC and my ethernet driver Atheros 2200.

When I am trying to boot usb starts booting but than stucks on Service exited with abnormal code: 255

Here is my HW

Intel Core i7 3770k
16GB ram
AMD 290 4GB
256gb ssd transcend
MSI Z77A G45-Gaming

I also tried safe mode but that ends after 10 seconds with error

I have solution, you need to copy FakeSMC to folder 10.10 in KEXTS folder as well

Thank you - you're brilliant! Have tried everything but was getting stuck on the 255 error. Put Fakesmc.kext in 10.10 kext folder and next boot was successful - thanks.

about step 20 is it fine to install kexts using multibeast ? during post installation
