I am sure that @jyavenard is able to help you. If I correctly remember, he faced exactly the same 5K display issue right at the beginning.

Only changed clover

1. change EFI EFI-X299-10.13.4-SU-Release-iMacPro1,1-120518 & Clover boot loader 4458!
= not solved
2. change Bios ver down 1201
= not sloved
3. change Bios ver 1105
= not solved
4. change Bios update 1201
= no..
5. change bios re update 1301 (asus official page)
= Unlike now, the boot log seems to be proceeding normally.
However, the monitor does not output as the screen goes over.

Until now, the problem of BIOS was right.
Now it's another matter.

add vegagraphicfixup.kext
= monitor blackout
add vegagraphicfixup + lilu + whatevergreen.kext
= Oh yes!!!

Why do you use whatevergreen.kext with a Vega?

Vegagraphicsfixup.kext + lilu.kext = correct solution

Vegagraphicsfixup.kext is a lilu-plugin and requires lilu.kext!

Whatevergreen is obsolete in your "Oh Yes" equation...
