High sierra on dell inspiron 15 3521 ,Core i3-3217u

Hi everyone!!!I am new here.I had been thinking about changing my laptop's operating system from windows to mac os and found this forum best to get help from.But after some research i found that all threads dealing with inspiron 15 3521 address core i5 variants not core i3 variants.So if anyone has installed hackintosh os on dell inspiron 15 3521 core i3-3217u with 4gb ram and intel mobile hm76 express chipset along with 500gb hardrive.If any kindly let me know.And if there would be any compatibility issues from changing ram to 8gb from 4gb and to an 120gb ssd from 500gb hdd?

So do i need a mac to download mac os installer first?

Or you may have some success installing Snow Leopard from DVD (can be purchased from Apple).

Does mac os run 3d modelling software like solidworks and autocad smoothly as i have heard that they don't.
