starting with macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 there will be native support for Aquantia AQtion based 10GbE network cards.
digging around in the latest developer beta of 10.13.2 revealed a KEXT named "AppleEthernetAquantiaAqtion.kext".
path to the KEXT: /System/Library/Extensions/IONetworkingFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/

this has to be the 10GbE NIC of the soon to be released iMac Pro. it might be easy to get 10Gb ethernet in the near future...

I'm very interested. I'm wondering what Aquantia chip is used in the Asus card (XG-C100C)? If it used the AQC107, why wouldn't it work? Do we need an IMac Pro definition in Clover?

I have that ASUS card and it gets detected properly in 10.13.2 but unfortunately, it doesn't work. We need a right clover kext patch. I tried to use iMac Pro definition but my hackintosh failed to boot with stop sign during boot process instead of Apple logo.
Yep, need a kext.....

I tested the Gigabyte GC-AQC107. My experience is similar. It gets detect fine and can be seen in System Preferences/Networking/. But it doesn't work. It never shows "connected".

I think something like a KextsToPatch can get it working.

Working now on my Hackintosh. Great to be the first to get it working.

What I did:

1. Used Clover v4380
2. Used OsxAptioFix3Drv-64.efi
3. SBIOS: iMac18,3
4. Latest USBInjectAll.kext and XHCI-200-series-injector.kext
5. High Sierra 10.13.3 Dev Beta 5 (Unsure this is a requirement but should work from 10.13.2)

I have enclosed my clover EFI folder. Just change the serial number before using it.

YAY!!
I think it's the 10.13.3 beta. My card is still not working in 10.13.2 build 17C205.

I updated to Clover r. 4380, OsxAptioFix3Drv.kext, USBInjectAll.kext and XHCI-200-series-injector.kext.

I tried with the onboard NIC disabled and made sure that the AQC107 was en0 and still not working. The network system preference shows its MAC address so I know it's partially working...

I can enroll in the public beta program tomorrow. I'm going to try and get some sleep now... It's getting late here... Thanks for the help!

Also, my .ioreg output is pretty much the same as your. So, i think it's either some sort of firmware difference or software difference...
