Help with 10.9.4 fresh install

Specs:

Processor - i5-4670
MotherBoard - Gigabyte Z97N-WIFI
Graphics - Onboard

Tried many boot flags, but keep ending up with "unable to find driver for this platform: \"ACPI\".../IOPlatformExpert.cpp:1533
Please let me know if anyone has any experience with this build and can provide some insight. I've only been at it for a couple of hours, and really want to get this hackintosh built for my friend.

Thank you for this awesome guide!!! I actually found it on my own and then you replied. Turned out actually that it was because my thumb drive was in a usb 3.0 slot.. *hand to face* but thought i would note that incase anyone else runs across this thread with the same issue!
