Rehab Man i have linux in flash drive how to extract in terminal can u give full terminal code i don't now how to extract in linux,
Wish you a Bright and Happy New Year

For the 4540s, you do not need to use Linux. Boot with DropSSDT=No, then run MaciASL and choose File -> New from ACPI. You will see all your SSDT tables listed. Find the one with the graphics code in it. It will probably be SSDT-5. Then you can apply the patch from the ProBook DSDT patch repo, Save As to /Extra/ssdt-1.aml (format: ACPI Machine Language Binary).

Then boot normally (without DropSSDT=No) and test.

Hmm so so far all test cases successfully disabled it without the restart problem. May be I should start over it.

I don't think we've had a second 4540s user attempt (surprising).

But it looks like riyadku is about to try...

I've tried it, but I had an issue with it:
The latest patch works for me on 4540s without the shutdown on restart bug.

EDIT: Display stays off after wake :(

I've applied the latest git patches to my DSDT/SSDT-7.
Sometimes the display comes back on.

There seems to be some question as to whether you used the patches correctly. There are no patches for DSDT here. Just SSDT.

Restart working OK?

MaciASL ssdt-1.aml 7 Errors Restart working good not showing HD 7650m

If you are reloading your ssdt-1.aml after patching/saving, and then getting errors, that is to be expected. The errors are caused by bugs in the iasl disassembler.

one problem Wen system sleep wake up black screen and nothing happens after this
hard pressing power buttion and boot again Do have the same issue how to fix this?
