I have a problem with my installation of OSX on my computer.

I finally got my memory stick set up to the point where I can start installing, but my hard drive is not detected by the system.

When I open disk utility all that shows up is the Flash Drive I'm booting from

I have tried to add another flash drive in one of the other USB ports, formatted FAT32 and it shows

Right now there is 2 drives in my HDD C and D in C drive there is Windown 7 home premium and D has some data.

Motherboard: ga g31m es2l rev1.1 socket 755
Processor: intel core 2 quad q8400 2.6 ghz processor
Ram: Corsair 2GB ram
Graphics: Radeon HD 4670 1gb
Hard drive: Seagate sata 500GB HDD

There is no AHCI mode in my motherboard
Integrated peripherals -> On chip PCI IDE [Disabled] i tried with enable too
On chip sata mode -> [enhanced]
Power Managment -> HPET [enable]
HPET mode -> [64 bit mode]

Bios is updated f10

I need to boot with PCIRootUID=0 then only it takes me further

is it the problem My HDD is not formattedwith Mac OS Extended (journaled) if yes then how can i formate my HDD with Mac OS Extended (journaled)

There is no AHCI mode is that the problem if yes then how to solve it

If you have any useful information then it will be great help

Please help i being trying this all for long long time

Thanks & Regards

Prakash
